(Fraser, CO), February 21, 2023 — The Rendezvous Foundation, a charitable arm of local real estate developer, Koelbel and Company, approved a $39,000 endowment to be given to the Fraser Valley Elementary Parent Advisory Committee to support a variety of critical school needs for the 2023 school year. The funding will support the expansion of the after-school tutoring program and provide new state of the art SMART Boards for up to 10 classrooms as well as new sleds and shovels for students to use during recess. This contribution represents the largest single donation ever received by the Parent Advisory Committee.
“The fantastic financial support and collaboration of our PAC and Koelbel will significantly support our current students, staff, and future student generations,” said Dr. Chamberlin, Principal of Fraser Valley Elementary. “We are so grateful for the hard volunteer work of our PAC organization and generous funding from Koelbel. I am consistently impressed by our community’s commitment to the schools and desire to improve the learning and teaching environment for all.”
The Rendezvous Foundation will officially present the check to school officials from Fraser Valley Elementary Parent Advisory Committee at the East Grand School District Board Community Outreach Meeting on February 21st at 6:00pm at Fraser Valley Elementary School at 125 Eastom Ave, Fraser, CO 80442. Media and the public are welcome to attend.

The specific breakdown of the funding which was approved by the Rendezvous Foundation board includes:
- Gap funding for after-school tutoring program two days a week starting through the remainder of the 2022 – 2023 school year. This gap funding will allow the current program to expand from 16 to 26 students. FUNDING APPROVED: $1,500.00
- Provide funding for sleds and shovels to be used during recess times for all students. FUNDING APPROVED: $2,500.00
- Provide funding to acquire up to 10 SMART Board MX series with iQ for classrooms. Currently 3 classrooms are equipped with this technology. FUNDING APPROVED OF $35,000
