Choosing A Koelbel Community

The first step in purchasing a Koelbel home is to choose the community that’s right for you. Do you dream of living with your finger on the pulse of the city? Check out the last remaining CityHomes at Boulevard One. Maybe you want to get the best Colorado has to offer with both mountain and water views? Montmere at Autrey Shores may be the place you’ve been dreaming of. After choosing a community, the next step is to select a floor plan. Each community is full of homes that range in size, layout, and optional additions. This is where you start to tailor your home to your lifestyle. Do you want extra flex spaces? An attached garage? What about an in-home elevator or first floor Primary Suite? Make Your Home Your Own
You’ve chosen a home, congratulations! Now comes the part where you truly make it your own by selecting finishes that range from fixtures in the ceiling to the floor you’ll be walking on.
Don’t feel equipped or qualified to make choices like that? Don’t worry, we make it easy and can give lots of support, advice, and suggestions throughout. The process starts when we invite you to our sales center. Here, we’ll take a look at smaller finishes, like cabinets, plumbing fixtures, and appliances. Buyers love this step because you’ll be able to see and touch examples of everything you can choose from, meaning you get a sense of what it’ll feel like in your home before you commit to anything. We also have specialized partners that will come in to guide you through more technical aspects such as low volt, electrical, and light fixture selections.
Next up is our design center. This is an expansive showroom where you’ll work with a design specialist to choose larger finishes such as flooring, countertops, and wall tiles. At this point you’ll be able to picture exactly how your finished future home will look, feel, and function.
Final Steps
Now comes the ‘easy’ part. Which often turns out to be the hard part. Now is when you sit back and wait while Koelbel finalizes the construction based on all the conversations we’ve had and the decisions you’ve made up until this point. You’ll hear from us regularly to get updates on how everything is progressing and so that there are no surprises. As move-in day approaches we’ll be scheduling closing and an orientation so ensure you feel completely settled by the time your new home is ready for you.
